Condenser Microphones Output Toroidal Transformers

Our low losses, low distortion, and extremely low DCR condenser microphone toroidal transformers are wound on annealed 80% tape wound cores. The pri DCR is under 100 Ohm, while most of the EI or DU cores are in kOhm range. To reduce winding capacitance we use chambered winding. The range of transformers includes models for both JFET and tube condenser microphones.

Since toroidal transformers generally have a great immunity to stray fields and in most cases do not need additional shielding the prices are given for unshielded versions. If needed, for additional cost we can pot them in a mu-metal can. Specify if you need center-tapped secondary.
